Healing Haven Markets are held at Belmont South Foreshore on the 2nd Sunday monthly from 9-2. The Healing Haven Markets focuses on products & services that promote positive health and Wellbing of mind, body & soul and the promotion of Fair Trade & Sustainable goods. The essence of the market will be Organic, Handmade, Homemade, fair trade & sustainable goods & food stalls as well as services and alternative therapists that promote Health & wellbeing.

 

The aim of the Healing Haven Markets (HHM) is to improve the health of the community and see ethical, safe, sustainable & holistic products & services become the first choice for creating wellness. We aim to help people feel inspired, informed and empowered to be responsible for their own health.

 

Healing Haven Markets accepts a variety of products and services that contribute to the abovementioned aim. There are also limited community and information stall spaces available.

 

Fees are set at a casual or permanent rate depending on the needs of the stall holder and their product. Permanent stall holders receive preferential placement and additional promotional opportunities.

 

Product categories are capped in their capacity and should your product be suitable for HHM but there is not a current availability in the category, you may be offered the opportunity to be placed on a wait list

 

By applying to be a stallholder you are agreeing that you have read and fully understood our Terms and Conditions (T & C) and that you fully indemnify Healing Haven Markets against any claims. Further, that you will fully respect and always adhere to those T & C.

 

Applications

  • Acceptance and non-acceptance of applications will be at the sole discretion of "Healing Haven markets” (Management) and will be based on the information given by the applicant on their application, meeting the approved Product criteria, quality, product distribution, diversity (market mix) and availability.

  • Stalls cannot be transferred, sublet, franchised or sold to any other person, nor can they be shared without written approval.

  • Public Liability & 3 photographs must be emailed through after online application is submitted healinghavenmarkets@gmail.com.

 

Fees

  • Fees must be paid by due dates set by Management 14 days prior to the date of the market).

  • Stall fees

    • Goods stall (3mx3m)                           $80

    • Table only (no marquee, 1 trestle)     $50

    • Food Services                                      $80

    • Produce (3mx3m)                                $80

    • Healing Services                                 $80    

 

  

  • A Permanent stall may be offered after a stallholder has attended 6 continual markets. This will be offered at a reduced rate. To hold the permanent space and rate payment is to be made for all markets on a monthly basis.  

  • No items are available for hire and must be supplied by stallholder.

  • Payment is via direct deposit only.

Insurance

  • All stallholders MUST be covered by Public Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $10,000,000.

  • Please scan and email a copy of your public liability insurance certificate when you send through your application form..

  • A copy of the Insurance Certificate of Currency must be supplied to the Manager before a Stallholder may trade at the Market.

  • It is the responsibility of the Stallholder to ensure that the insurance is renewed and remains current for the term that the Stallholder undertakes Trading Activity at the Market.

  • Updated copies must be emailed through upon expiry.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Notification of non-attendance is required. If no notification is given then all future bookings will be cancelled and any monies paid will not be refunded.

  • NO credits are given for cancellations that occur less than 14 days before a market day, or for cancellations received on market days.

 

Weather

  • HHM will operate in all weather, unless HHM deem it unsafe to do so.

  • If the weather is poor check Healing Haven Markets Facebook from 6am on event mornings to see if event is running. A bulk email will be sent to all stallholders to advising of any cancellation. By 6.00 am the next day.

  • In the instance that the HHM management cancels a market date at any time, prepaid site fees will be credited to the stallholder for a future market booking.

 

Parking

  • Parking or driving on the premises. to be advised

  • Vehicles must be moved to the nearest cross street once unloaded, and at the latest by 8.15am.

  • Please respect this as it allows the customers parking and a better experience for the shoppers. There is no parking costs and plenty of room and it is very close to wander back.

 

Set up & Pack up

  • Set up is from 7.15am and arrival no later than 8.15am.  As stated above vehicles must be moved  to the nearest offstreet no later than 8.15am.  

  • Vehicles must be moved to the nearest cross street once unloaded, and at the latest by 8.30am.

  • The market  finishes at 2pm which is when pack up is.

 

Waste and Rubbish Removal/Recycling

PLEASE NOTE: LEAVE THE SITE IN THE CONDITON IN WHICH IT WAS FOUND PRIOR TO SETTING UP TRADING FOR THE MARKET. Respect the beautiful space we trade on and good karma !

  • Stallholders are required to remove their own rubbish and waste from their immediate stall location. Boxes & cartons must be removed from market area.

  • The waste bins provided at the markets are for the general public use only and not available for the disposal of stallholders waste or packaging materials.

  • Stallholders are responsible for leaving their site and surrounding area clean, tidy and undamaged.

  • Re-cycling is vital and HHM are very strong in our principals of this.

  • Walk around your site after the markets and please pick up anything you find on the ground. It's a big job to clean the whole site at the end of a long day (we don't want to pass on unplanned cleaning costs) unless we are forced to do so! Everyone’s' contribution here helps a lot!

  • You will be not permitted to trade as a food operator if you do not have bio degradable cutlery and utensils. STRICTLY. All other stall holders are also required to use bio degradable packaging and bags. The market is strongly geared towards sustainability.
